Track
I have to start track practice on monday, and I am not looking forward to it...
First of all, I don't even want to DO track. Between math team, ARML, and other schoolwork,
I already have enough going on. Not to mention I did track last year and hated it. The only reason I'm even considering doing it is because my Cross Country coach pressured me into it.
I tried to run today. Actually, the only reason I even went running today was cause my mom indirectly made me. She was yelling at my brother because he was sleeping in (?) and said he was lazy cause he's not going to some soccer camp tomorrow. She said she "wanted him to get out" and that I "was going running" he "could go with me." Except that I had no such plans to go running...
So anyway, I decided that we'd go from my house to the tracks and back, about three miles round trip. I found out today how shot I am. Honestly, I'm sooo out of shape. I started cramping at about a half mile. Barely made it all the way.
Basically, I'm not looking forward to track. I can think of about a billion things I'd rather do thatn to sprint around Concordia's godforsaken track. Again, I hate sprinting, and even If I do a distance event, I'll still end up doing some short and fast workouts. Oh well...Enough complaining from me...
